What
are Martial Arts?
The
Martial Arts are an unarmed system of self defense developed
almost 1,500 years ago in Asia. Originally intended for military
combat purpose, the Arts grew in popularity and eventually
the citizens began to practice the techniques for sport, exercise,
and mental strengthening.
Today,
the discipline and beauty of the Martial Arts are perhaps
best exemplified in the Korean Martial Art - Tae Kwon Do.
Tae Kwon Do means kicking and punching philosophy to reconcile
body and mind. Tae Kwon Do maintains all the rest of the ancient
arts such as mental and physical discipline, fidelity to family,
friendship, and honor, as well as incorporating the latest
up-to-date training and safety procedures. The result is a
very well rounded and effective system of self defense.
Who
Can Learn The Martial Arts?

Martial Arts can be learned by everyone, young as 3 years-old
and as old as 80, make or female. Besides the benefit from
becoming proficient in self defense, the Martial Arts will
give you self confidence, a positive outlook, better health,
and mental as well as physical relaxation.
