TAE KWON DO
Tae Kwon Do is a physical
expression of the human will for survival and activity to fulfill
the spiritual desires of people. It is a method of self-defense
without weapons. Tae Kwon Do is a Korean form of martial art which
uses the entire body. Translated, "Tae" means foot, "Kwon"
means hand, and "Do" means art, therefore; Tae Kwon Do
means "the art of kicking and punching to reconcile the mind
and body".
MEMBERSHIP OATH
1. We as members train our spirits and bodies according
to the strict code.
2. We as members are united in mutual friendship and respect.
3. We as members will comply with all regulations and obey the instructors.
STUDENT CREED
1. I intend to develop myself in a positive manner
and avoid anything that would reduce my mental growth or my physical
health.
2. I intend to develop self-discipline in order to bring out the
best in myself and others.
3. I intend to use what I learn in class constructively and defensively:
to help myself and my fellow man and woman and never to be abusive
or offensive.
